SEWER WORK FOR THE MAYOR

When I was the Mayor, I and two city councilmen, Beto and Agapito (Bebe Rey) went to Asherton, Texas, to talk to the Mayor there.  His office told us that he was out fixing a sewer pipe.  So we went and found him in rubber boots. I said, I’m the Mayor and these are city councilmen from Encinal.”  Nice to meet you.  “Yeah,” he said, “I used to do sewer work on sewer systems.  Now that I’m the mayor they still call me to fix their sewer pipes.”  So he was there unclogging their sewer pipes.  You don’t see that in a big city.  But in a small town, that’s how it happens.
